As Misao Hayaku walked past the tall metal gates and into the main courtyard of Karakura High School she was greatly discomforted by the stares that she recieved by both students and teachers. Normally she rarely recieved a second's glance, barely acknowledge, and ignorance was something she found much more appealing than attention. Startled, her casual pace slowed to the point of almost stopping, her heart pounding at a swift pace behind her breast, causing her temperature to rise and her pale cheeks to turn beet red. Instinctively, she lowered her gaze to her very-much-used shoes, which were threatening to fall apart at the soles, and forced her legs to continue walking, pulling her school bag closer to her slender body. She pretended not to notice the unusual silence that seemed to cling to her every footstep, though the occasional glance revealed to her that quite a number of people were still staring at her. Urgh ... I knew that this was a stupid idea, she inwardly groaned to herself, reaching up to pull her cap further down, sheilding the upper-half of her face from view, her cheeks still aflame. Now everyone won't stop staring at me. Reaching the block where her locker was stationed, Misao's ears picked up scattered pieces of whispered conversation around her. All which featured the "return" of Minato Hayaku - "Karakura's Legendary Weirdo". Misao's younger twin brother. The person who she was pretending to be at that very moment, dressed in his school uniform and supporting blue-tinted contacts to mask the golden glare of her own eyes. Though she didn't appreciate the attention that was usually reserved for her brother, Misao felt fortunate that nobody had seen through her disguise and knew her to be the female twin. Thankfully, she had had enough experience and knowledge to masquerade as Minato to the point where even her own parents were fooled. Still, though she knew her own brother as well as she knew herself, she needed to remain on her guard in case instinctive behaviour occured that caused her to seem more like Misao Hayaku than Minato Hayaku. Such as stopping at her own locker instead of Minato's. Quickly realizing her mistake, Misao pretended to skim her fingers along the cool metal until she arrived at her brother's, five or so lockers away from her own, and began to enter in its combination. Which Minato had already told her before his dissapearence. Making a face at just how untidy the state of the locker was, the sixteen-year-old girl sighed miserably. Desiring to be herself once more.

School, truly the best place to get away from work except for one little thing. The place actually gives him even more work. The teen walked in and through the metal gate. Today was one of those days, the days where he had to go to school in order to avoid getting held back. Really the only reason why he goes to school wasn't to work, it was to hit on girls. That was all that he really cared about but the human's government was almost like Soul Society, boring and just loves to ruin other people's fun. Oh well, it didn't really matter much since at least school didn't give him as much work as being a captain. To which he had a feeling was stacking up right now. He wouldn't be surprised if they had reached the ceiling but who knows, maybe someone took pity on him and did some of the work. At least he was hoping that was the case anyway. Soon he reached to his locker and put in the combination to change his shoes. He slowly bended down in order to tie it as he remembered why he had came to this school in the first place. It was in order to collect as much information on Minato as possible. After all wasn't i strange that on the day he vanished, a mass of hollows had appeared again. The conclusion was very obvious, that boy whether he knew it or not must had opened the gate. So that meant that chances are, the boy was either dead or held captive. He couldn't see why they would hold the boy captive but one thing was for sure, the boy was not on Earth anymore. That was all the information that he had got. Actually that was all the information that any captains were given. This was a wild goose hunt if anything really. "Kou-chan!" spoke out Hanako as she stood there. Her eyes staring at the person that was about three or four lockers away from them. She had even raised her hands to point the person out for him. The teen finished with his shoes before he looked at his partner. What? Instinctively he turned around and his usual calm composure was gone. What the...He couldn't even finish his thought as there in front of him was Minato. Really, something was wrong with those old men of the Central 41 since the boy wasn't missing at all! He was right here in school! God all those times that could had been spent on girls were taken out for something that he didn't even need to do! They had better let him off for a month for this because he had done all this work for nothing. Well, at least they found the boy, he might as well just bring him in for questioning right? Now how was he going to do this and keep his school rep. After all he was still going to stay in school, especially with how cute all the girls are. The boy shoved his hands into his pockets before he walked up to the person. "Hayaku Minato right?" he asked as he couldn't see the person's face. Damn! Maybe he shouldn't had started out with asking a question like that. As he heard, people had made fun of him for his powers to see spirits. He really should had thought this over before he makes such a comment. Okay, calm down, maybe he won't run if the spirit was lucky.

Once she had brushed the rotten apple-cores, bent-out-of-shape paperclips and layers of dust that had been occupying her brother's locker for some time now, firmly ignoring the poster of what looked to be a torture/snuff porn scene of a very much naked anime girl that Minato had posted against the far wall of his locker, Misao put the majority of her bag's contents inside of it. Keeping only her first two textbooks for her morning lessons, a few pens, a copy of her current favourite manga, a drinkbottle and her cellphone in her bag. Zipping her backpack up before shouldering, Misao then pushed the door of her locker closed loudly, aware that there was really nothing more that she could do to earn any more attention than she was already recieving Honestly, how did Minato endure all of this on a daily basis? she wondered exasperatedly. Although he did bring it onto himself. At least now I know why he truanted so often. Hearing approaching footsteps, Misao spared a glance over her shoulder and instantly felt her heart skip a beat within her chest, her mouth becoming dry out of pure, unadulterated fear. Without a thought, she jumped back, her back pressed against the hard cold surface of her locker as her heart pounded painfully away within her chest, her eyes locked on the pale-haired male who was walking towards her. To anyone else, he would have seemed perfectly normal. But Misao had always been able to see that which nobody else could. To her eyes, torrents of reiatsu radiated from his form, hidden within a strange body-like compartment, Misao's eyes seeing his true soul within. And whilst his reiatsu did not affect her, she knew that he wasn't human. He was one of those unique souls that only appeared human, garbed in priest-like attire. What could he want with me? And the answer that Misao expected arrived immediately after her thoughts. For it wasn't she that he wanted. It was Minato. He only thought that he was seeing Minato, not aware that it wasn't Minato at all who stood before him. Trying to calm her racing heart, Misao assured herself that the spirit wouldn't be able to do anything to her in such a crowded place. And if he dared to try, she'd teleport far away. He'd never find her then. "Hayaku Minato right?" Taking a moment to make her own voice go a note or so deeper, to sound like her brother, Misao also forced her face to immitate the distrustful scowl that her brother always seemed to wear, expecting more insults from those who thought him insane. "Yeah? Do you want something?"

"Yeah? Do you want something?"Yep, so it was Minato after all. God this was pointless then. Looks like he might as well go ahead and tell the other captains that the boy wasn't missing. For some reason though he liked frightened for a moment? What? It wasn't like Kousetsu was in his shinigami form, he was in his gigai so he should look perfectly normal. He scratched the back of his head as he felt a little uncomfortable. It wasn't that he doesn't usually talk to guys, he does. The only thing that was bothering him was the fact that he wasn't so sure on what to say next. After all he had once again remembered that the boy was ridiculed by his peers so that might had been why he was scared. Right now wasn't the best time to ask for questions then. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to..." The teen couldn't finished his sentence because he noticed something was off. Well sure the boy he was talking to was scowling at him but something was off he just knew it. He couldn't exactly put his finger on it. "Show me around." he stated. Yeah, like that would make any sense at all seeing that he had been going to this school for about a month. He mentally slapped himself at that thought. This really was going to be hard for him especially with this feeling that won't go away. Whatever, like it really matters. He stood there, his hands shoved into his pockets as he stared at Minato. The passing kids made whispers and started to spread rumors. There was something really strange here now that he had thought about it. He looked at one of those kids and noticed that they were men, well there goes the idea of using his charm to shut them up. Oh well, he simply let that thought go away for a moment as he went back to the boy that was in front of him. Something really was off here as it doesn't make sense at all. Minato vanished right? That was what Central 41 had told him, no one could find his reitsu. A week later his sister went to a private school that wasn't in this country. Yet the shinigamis that tried to go to America couldn't find her. There was something missing here, the parents seems to be acting normally though but that might be due to the fact that they couldn't see spirits. Whatever, it doesn't matter right now. He'll figure it out later anyway. Why did that thought even come into his mind in the first place? He really must be losing it, probably with all those paperwork that he had to sign last week. Yeah he wasn't a normal captain who signs papers everyday. Instead he does it every week due to the fact that he was just far too lazy. Not that it really affect him in a bad way, he actually likes it this way as strange as that might sound. "So when is your sister going to come back." he asked but it wasn't because he was a shinigami. Rather he had been thinking about asking the sister out for a while now. Why? Well he made it his goal to date every girl that seems cute.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to ... show me around." Reacting to the strange spirit's words, Misao no longer had to force hard lines to remain fixated upon her face, they stayed their naturally now, scowling in disbelief. For whilst she might never have seen him around before, he couldn't have been a new student. New students were always taken under the wing by some loudly-spoken, annoying student who one of the teachers had asked to be the new kid's guide. And the spirit before her was quite obviously alone. And quite obviously not an actual student at Karakura High School. Since he wasn't actually human. Annoyed and highly suspecious of the individual before her, Misao was of the mind to grumble a rejecting answer before walking off to her first period, but the passing students caught her gaze. All shooting her nasty glances and whispering suspeciously to each other. Their actions caused by how the "new student" was stupidly approaching the "weirdo Minato". If Misao rejected the spirit, the day would only get worse for her. Resigning herself to her feet, the young teenaged girl gave an irritable roll of her falsely blue hues, tugging her cap closer to her head before turning her back to the male in front of her. "Whatever," was her reply before she gestured briefly towards their surroundings. "This is the science and mathematics block, also where my years lockers are stations. Follow me, and I'll show you where the bathrooms and cafeteria are located."Not bothering to see if she was indeed being followed, Misao set off, head lowered once again in a ineffective way to ignore the behaviour of her fellow school peers, cap masking her upper-face. Her movement was casual and slow, though her body appeared somewhat rigid with tension. "So when is your sister going to come back?" The sudden question startled Misao for a moment but it didn't take her long to formulate a satisfactory answer. "She planned to stay overseas for several months but, knowing Misa-chan, I wouldn't be surprised if she was gone for over a year," she replied, using the nickname that Misato always referred and addressed her with. Abruptly, the sixteen-year-old stopped and spun to face the spirit, eyes accusing as a fact suddenly occured to her. "Why the sudden interest in my sister, anyway? No - better yet, how do you even know about her? Aren't you supposed to be new?"

"Yeah? Do you want something?""She planned to stay overseas for several months but, knowing Misa-chan, I wouldn't be surprised if she was gone for over a year,"Misa-chan, that's quite a cute nickname for the girl. Maybe once she comes back he could start calling her that. Well that is if he was to stay as a student, after all he could just say he was transferring to another school in another country once he has no reason to stay here. Hopefully that wasn't the case as human are actually quite interesting even though he has been one before in his life, he couldn't exactly remember much about his past. It was a curse really to the point where he felt lucky just to remember what his name was when he was a live. Then again so do most shinigamis, well it was either that or they always fake that they remember it anyway. He lightly shook his head to get id of that thought. He didn't like trying to remember about his past, it was the past for a reason after all. It was something that should had been forgotten but yet it always haunted him. Slowly trying to get him to break down. Really, being dead could be quite the bother when it comes to things like this. Although it could be worse since his past wasn't full of sorrow. At least he was pretty sure it wasn't anyway. He actually didn't know but he figured that it was most likely one where he got to play a lot, like other people. After all isn't playing and living their lives all that the living really does? "Why the sudden interest in my sister, anyway? No - better yet, how do you even know about her? Aren't you supposed to be new?"Wow if looks can kill he could be dead. Well he was already dead but still those eyes sure were scary. Good thing that he couldn't kill people with it. Although he did make a pretty wrong move there since he was suppose to be new but yet he knew about the girl. So what was going to be his second lie for the day? Wait was it his second or third? He wasn't so sure anymore since he lied so much that it felt natural to him. It probably felt natural to every shinigami really. His eyes stared at the boy in front of him for a moment as he tried to find an answer. The boy was quite infamous for his ability so maybe he could hear rumors about his sister too? That sounded about right. "A couple of kids told me about her. She sounded cute from the description." he replied. Well at least there was one ounce of truth there. He did find the sister quite attractive even though it was mainly because of her eyes. You don't tend to see that kind of eyes on most girls. Most of them usually have fragile ones but hers actually made her look determined. He found it quite interesting, for a girl to have those kind of eyes. Although he doesn't really know much about her personality other than the fact that she is quiet, possibly due to her parents' divorce and her brother's mysterious disappearance. Although it was still unconfirmed those were the reasons that the shinigami had came up with.
